2008 Preakness Throwout Contest

Okay, short notice I realise, but maybe we can get a few players in under the radar. Get them in before Noon PST on Saturday.

Same rules as before. Pick 6 to throwout and one alternate. We'll point from 1-4 (15, 10, 5, 3).

I'm just not impressed with Big Brown. Yeah in the past I've jumped on bandwagons and then got my heart crushed...guess I am growing more cynical as I age.

Dutrow hasn't been crowing like he was before the Derby. Yeah, it's tough to go full bore two weeks later, but that separates the wheat from the chaff.

Well I have crap on my face.

I am not a believer in Big Brown...if he wins the TC (which I believe he WON'T), it will be because he dominated a weak crop. He hasn't been tested AT all in his very short career and it will be even shorter now that he's won 2/3d's of the TC.

If he would win the TC, good God, what a boring series.

I want a horse to get up in Big Brown's face and make him work for a win. Enough of letting the SOB have his way...bring on the Belmont.
