This was truly devastating to read about. He was one of the top four older horses last year and likely would've been near the top again this year.
It's almost ironic that I just looked up his bio and race record the day before yesterday. I'm gonna miss this guy-he won $2.9 mil, 3 $1mil races and was extremely consistent. More importantly, this guy really had guts and would always bear down and battle his adversaries completely through the stretch. I think also maybe the good Lord knew he'd need a friend in Indyanne. I'll miss you fella.
