Good Lord, that horse just toyed with them. At the 3/4 pole, the other jockeys were wearing them horses out and Russell Baze just sat there. He actually only hit him once and that horse took off. Easily won. Can he get the classics distance though is the question?

if he can get the distance, the rest of this years 3 yo crop is in big trouble...did all of you see this guy in the lane ?....ears pricked...swiveling around like an antenna......lots of room for improvement here.

I am no expert but I would be very surprised if he would be a triple crown contender. Not taking anything away from him but I don't think he will handle the longer races that well. JMHO

He might not be able to get a 1 1/4 but i can tell you one thing about this horse, he will get 7/8 or even a mile distance no problem. Horse did everything on his own. Damn wish i owned this horse-lol

His pedigree has both speed and stamina influences on both top and bottom and lots of quality on the dams' sides in addition to the obvious sires such as Caro, Ribot, Northern Dancer. He could be any kind of a horse. Just hope he stays healthy so we get to watch! :P

He certainly looked good today, if maybe just a little green and inclined to loaf in the stretch.

LOST IN THE FOG dk/b. C. 2002
Lost Soldier---Cloud Break, by Dr. Carter

Lost in the Fog's pedigree looks like Declan's Moon pedigree, hope for the small breeders to tackle the big boys on broadway.

1st dam Cloud Break 3 foals 3 winners
3rd dam Margarets Number 7 foals 7 winners, 3 SW--2 were GR SW

There are diamonds in the rough found in Lost in the Fog's pedigree.
I like the under rated sire Lost Soldier as all the major players in the breeding shed are to be found in Lost Soldier's pedigree.

Lets see where Lost in the Fog will fit with the 3yr. olds in his division, as he will get tested for class. If he has the class he will fit the mold.

If they can get that green out of him by April, all of those 100k+ yearlings better watch out. He was so smooth in that race. I was very impressed.

Has anyone run Bill's conduit profile on this guy to see where he fits.

I really think this horse will be able to catch a distance but perhaps as an older horse. You know what usually happens in the Derby, some 50-1 shot goes out in 22 flat and I just dont know if Fog could deal with that.
