3 of the 10 horses are lightly raced..one of them is Charitable Man. I think it will become the next popular in the waggering booth
after MTB...both CC and Dunkirk have the eligibility to claim if they have a little luck.

My eerie feeling is that this year's Belmont S will produce another surprise winner..

I don't think Charitable Man is fit enough for 12f. He tired in his first race back, then won a 9f race. Seems like it may be not enough to have him ready for 12f.

I like MTB.

MTB will win and everyone is going to have their feathers in a ruffle because of the preakness... well they are already ruffled... but people will be even more pissed when he wins 2 of the 3 races.

I have a soft spot for Mind that Bird. I was the only one at that year's Belmont party rooting for Birdstone-and getting glared at for it. To be honest, I just did'nt want a Triple Crown winner named Smarty Jones.

I truly hope that the little Bird wins, but I will be satisfied with a good showing. As for not winning the Preakness-not to be sexist, but did we really want a gelding to win the triple crown?

If we could reverse the clock and got RA shut out of The P so that MTB was the profoma winner..and make a yet bigger
assumption of MTB taking belmont..then what are we left ? The least respected TC of all times, or thereabout ?

He is good..but not good enough..I trust Calvin Borel insights in the P.

I think he is very good...

I like RA better, but I think she will do better next year.

I'd love to see MTB do it . . .and then I'd love to see him get a 3 month vacation somewhere nice and cool.
