I heard second-hand that she either stepped on a rock or dislocated her stifle. She's still in her stall at the track. I"ll let you know when I get more infor.

ouch...that makes us soulmates...I stepped on a branch once while running and tore my left hip labrum. Course I wasn't running like she was...thanks for info!

Thanks for the posting I was unaware this happened. I bred Cute Jammies and she was the sweetest horse I ever raised. She was also the buddy/playment of Tin Cup Chalice. They were the only two babies that year. If anyone hears more please post.

Oh I'm sorry! And what a coincidence. I just "knew" her because I stumbled across her name and loved it . . .close to an in-joke I have with a good friend. Then I looked at her pedigree and loved it. Here's hoping she's okay.

She was named after my mother-in-law. That was her daughters nickname for her growing up.

Ah. When a friend and I went to KY, we shared a room and she wore these bright orange and pink horizontally striped PJ's (kind of like the Goerge & Lori Hall silks), so one day I said "Ready to hit the road, Stripey Jammies?"
