This sucks. I was really looking forward to him running in the Classic.

This does suck JaradM. He's a heck of a horse-and very underated imo. I don't know what happened in the JCGC, but he's had a great year.
For any trainers or owners out there, it was reported that the horse developed a "cough" and thus would miss a workout-why then couldn't they just delay his breeze a few days, adjust accordingly and go forth w/ the BC? It's still 2 1/2 weeks away! It seems too often connections are either almost looking for any possible reason to scratch bec they're scared or they feel that if the horse doesn't have the absolute perfect training schedule then the horse isn't going to perform at optimum level. I'm not so sure.
It seems to me you may only have 1 shot w/ a horse to run in a major race & I'd rather adjust & go for it as opposed to gear up...for the Clark H'cap... Any thoughts?
