Racing Feeds in the Mid-Atlantic

Postby gunner99 » Sun Jan 17, 2010 9:14 pm

Anybody have any insight as to when the feeds from other tracks will be coming back to NJ? I normally enjoy going to the track and seeing some of the up and comers but it has been a difficult year thus far. I hope that they can resolve this crap. Bad for the industry....Any thoughts?

I wasn't aware of what was going on in NJ. Fill us in?

Haven't been to the track in a few weeks but SA, CD, Gulfstream and other Magna tracks cannot be bet or viewed in NJ, MD, PA, and NY. Apparently there is a fee that is being raised and the Mid-Atlantic tracks do not want to pay it. Not sure of all the details but I can tell you that it is turning me off of the sport. I love racing and this seems like it is like the major sports going on strike. I am sure it hurts the tracks as the handles have to be falling.
