Here we go again. The first defection has been announced. Take Control is off the TC trail.

Ehhh, it's just as well. The story says he's off for 60 days. By that time, maybe there will be a track in Southern Cal to run on.

He was only a maiden winner. I think internet hype and parentage put him on the Derby trail, not necessarily his connections.

Maximus Ruler is out of training for at least a month with a sore shin and a bruised hoof. So he's off the Derby trail.
