The pace compromised her more than anything. A half in 50. TVG with awesome coverage. They mike'd Sadler who instructed Garcia to wait wait wait then get the jump on Blind Luck. Garcia rode her to exact instructions..

the pace got the horse. Not a bad ride at all. Maybe the trip to Churchill and back caught up with her.

After watching BL come back to the WC after the Oaks. I saw a filly in distress, she could hardly stand up, as she hit the wall, after her courageous victory. I would have given BL a rest, after the Oaks, as she was totally spent.

Jerry Hollendoffer, came back to the well, too soon, thats why BL got beat.

Louis, you do have a point and many wondered why Dorf was coming back instead of freshening her up. But again, she was seriously compromised by a very very slow pace; half in 50; 3/4's in 14 and two... She ran the last 5/16s in an eye popping 28 and 3/5s. That's good enough to win almost any race from the back..
