Dixie Brass mare out of 1/2 sister to Spanish Chestnut's dam

Anyone look at the pedigree of Brassy Shirley who ran at Philadelphia Park on February 13 for $4,000 claiming. She is by Dixie Brass and out of a half sister to the dam of Spanish Chestnut. She is out a stakes winning Skip Trial mare. If Spanish Chestnut was to win the Derby this mare could be worth some money. Remember Dixie Brass is the broodmare sire of Ohio and Indiana Derby winner Brass Hat. I just though this mare would be of interest to someone because she is an allowance winner eventhough it was at Suffolk. There is also another mare named Mary Carlise who is by Katowice and out of the same dam. She has been racing at Charles Town for $5,000 claiming. A person could get a mare with some black type close up to a Kentucky Derby contender. They are both half sisters to Broadway Snowman who made $174,140 and Dancin on Broadway who won an Allowance Optional claiming for $43,000 on February 5,2005. Dancin on Broadway is 3 and has won 3 out of 6 races in New York. There is lots of potential in this pedigree.
