I'm in one of those fantasy stables, and Global Hunter is one of my make believe horses. I've been following him for quite a while now.
He has a dislocated fetlock. They hope to get him put back together and save him. He's going to one of the surgical facilities where they will try to get the ankle fused.
I'm so worried about him. He doesn't win that often, but he always tries. Hopefully that gameness helps to get through this.

I just read that he underwent a four hour surgery! Hopefully, he will recover. He won that race on all heart.

Get well soon, brave one.

Yeah here's the article http://www.bloodhorse.com/horse-racing/ ... ur-surgery I sure hope he pulls through and keeps the weight spread out on those feet so there's no secondary situation like laminitis. We're rootin' for ya big guy!
