Only one horse under 10-1 in post positions 3-15... Wow. Soldat, Uncle Mo, and Nehro drawing 17-18-19 makes for some nice-looking longshots in the middle posts.

I just reviewed all the pedigrees and will "commit" to Animal Kingdom.
Let's get some European blood in the gene pool, please...
BTW, one gray, 2 or 3 chestnuts only. I think I looked up the first 8-9 before getting something other than dk bay/brown.

Bill Lathrop of conduit mare renown likes Animal Kingdom too, Toccet02. At 30-1, I'm going to have to put something down on Brilliant Speed. Can't remember a Derby with longer odds. Should be interesting. Hope the best horse wins....not much chance though.

Well, AK is who I would LIKE to see win...I have yet to actually handicap the race, and I won't so that till the day before for the best weather prediction accuracy.
Any wx forecast further out than 48 hours is a crapshoot.
