one thing i find quite fascinating, is that, no one doesn't like Goldy. How can you not like her lol? Zenyatta, who was uber gifted and a once in a life time mare in her own rights, you either loved her or hated her

I have not seen a mare, a horse so generally well liked as goldy before.

No obnoxious fans promoting her as the greatest ever, and her defeats to Zarkava probably mean that that will always remain true.

She is a truly awesome horse. I think the comparison between her and Black Caviar will start and there will be some push for the two of them to compete at some distance averaged out to be somewhat doable for both of them.

Not to mention I find that people who love turf racing are a more kinder, gentler lot than the other. hehehe just kidding....hey I gotta say that everything I get seems to only wanna run on the grass!! :)
trying to come up with something brillant..... this may take a while. :)

No disgrace in that loss. At least Goldi is still racing at the top level against males too. :)

Thanks for the link. I like the 'twin blazes' who never seemed to separate.

Canford Cliffs winning was not an upset.
