Anyone know the outcome for Snack after his breakdown in the Santa Catalina?

wrote an obit for Snack over in the pace advantage website. see under triple crown section.

Hadnt seen him run until sat, his breakdown bothered me so I looked up who he was and decided to commemorate him.
