Rocking Trick's first actual racehorse

Postby madelyn » Sat Oct 01, 2011 9:25 am

AARGH So Close!!! Rocking Trick has only had three starters - Techno's Will, Eyesablazin and Little Cordelia. Little Cordelia ran last night at Hoosier Park in a $38K Maiden Special Weight and after just a SPECTACULAR run she got nosed at the wire!! Rats!! Hope she gets the win next time!
So Run for the Roses, as fast as you can.....

Good luck Madelyn! Must be especially gratifying to see your stallions progeny racing successfully :)

Sounds fantastic Madelyn, it won't be long I hope before the Trick breaks his maiden.

GLTU and Rocking Trick. With all the time, energy broken bones etc. you deserve some success..

I join in to wish you the best. We'll see Little Cordelia in allowance company very soon, and hopefully is stakes company no long after that.

Madelyn-Little Cordelia is in training with me. We were so excited yet heart broken after that run last night. She's a tough filly with a heart the size of Texas and she showed that she wants to be a racehorse. Her first two races were filled with unfortunate circumstances beyond her control, but she perservered and is all business. After evaluating her the next couple of days, the owners and I are going to sit down and decide which direction to head her in. I do know this, she's definately got her game face on right now.

There is nothing wrong with a second in that level MSW..

Fact is you can make a lot of money running second in many MSWs with less competition that she is going to get later on.

Congratulation on her second

Good luck for the next one -- sounds like that filly won't be denied!

Is Eyesablazin on the shelf? He ran against one of mine a couple of times a few months ago. Seemed to have some promise.

I wish I knew. He was looking good. But I am not in touch with any of his connections. He had a workout published on September 7th at Presque Isle and nothing since. I fear he might have gotten hurt. I think he was entered once and scratched. He went 5th-4th-5th-4th in four starts in CA.
