kid sidney

Since I haven't posted for a while and am on a roll, my partner is part-owner in a nice 3 year old in case any of you want to follow him. The gelding's name is Kid Sidney. He won his lone start at oaklawn a couple weeks ago and they are trying to get him into the Rebel in case he can run well enough to get positioned for the classics.

They are getting some calls from hall of fame trainers who are trying to buy Kid Sidney. Couldn't happen to nicer guys. Kid Sidney is obviously inexperienced and hasn't faced tough horses yet, but hopefully he'll end up being a good un.

I play in a sim racing game that uses real horses' names and records... I just put him in my stable.

we find out wednesday if he made the rebel. if not, he goes off in an allowance to accumulate earnings for the arksansas derby.

he went a nice 59 yesterday seemed to come out of first race good.
