I found a entry for Hoopoe at Belmont for Sunday. He's been working great for a while now, and it's great to see Allou's first baby get to the track. Good Luck to him.

OOH! That's my "godfilly". Is this breeze on the net? (I'll let CLH explain..but she owns Allou)

I agree she looks wonderful, with lots of bone. Nice stride.

Aren't they gorgeous Wilf. I thought his name was most excellent since Hoop started out as something of a not quite ugly duckling as a foal, but came into his own as a yearling.

Hey guys - sorry I just saw this post Haven't really been online much - these mares, yearlings and foals are keeping me busy this year, as is all the freaking mowing
Anyhow, Hoopoe (Birdstone/Allou) is the first foal out of Allou (Seattle Slew/Fun Crowd). She did indeed have a Toccet filly (who is my avatar Tallulah) at the Maryland sale - she RNA'd but I believe (fingers crossed) we have gotten her sold now. She was a huge filly and I think she has tons of potential.
Hoopoe is now scheduled to race in a MSW on 5/23 at Belmont. Hopefully he'll do well!!
Allou has a Good Reward yearling at my place now and an Invasor colt this year.
On another note - those of you that followed McCaskill's Tapit filly (McTapit to us) - Malibu Beach to her new owners just won a MSW at Delware Park today! Yippee! McCaskill will be so happy and hopefully it will help her Suave colt this summer at the sale. Now if they could just get her in a stakes race and she'd win before then .......
