It was reported that the 12 years old son of KRIS S broke his neck while attempting to jump over a gate and died on the spot.
Kris Kin was remembered for his heroic victory in the 2003 Epsom Derby in which the talented Alamshar was humbled to 3rd.
After the Derby Alamshar took revenge over him in the G1 KING GEORGE STAKES in July of that year.
He ran 2 more races after King George before retirement but was beaten way behind the winner the world champion
Dalakhani in both instances, the last being the prestigeous Prix De LÁrc De Triomphe.
He was not a "successful" sire by all measures.
