Hi bdw,
The Champion Stakes will be run as the 5th race on the Ascot card tomorrow at 11:05 AM Eastern time. The possibility remains, Frankel could scratch due to the soft to heavy conditions over the turf course. The decision will come tomorrow morning when Frankel's connections walk the course to decide if running is in the best interest of their champion. TJ

Does anyone know why the Ascot card doesnt come up on Twinspires? Cheltenham, Wolverhampton, and Catterick Bridge are up, but not Ascot anywhere on Todays race card, and of course the office isnt open yet to call, so I dont now :) Thanks

wow after that break i and the rabbit not making the lead i seriously did not htink he woudl win that. the 2nd horse had some run. you can tell that 10F really is about as far as frankel wants to run he doesn't have the same burst as he has at 8F but still he's just too good.

Hi bdw,
Looked as if he sulked or actually dwelt leaving the gate. Not a good sign at all...he didn't look like the same horse today. I'm glad this is his final race. TJ

Was it the distance or the going? Everything I've read says he's not raced on turf this soft before. If so, then with everything else that didn't happen according to plan, a remarkable race.

If he had a good set up, could he get 1-1/2 miles? Is it out of his reach or out of reach of the perceptions people have for him? Doesn't he carry a fair bit of stamina in his pedigree?
