No question that Rockport Harbor was short for this race, but he turned in a good effort and should move up, and the winner looks to be quite a nice colt. Anyone get a clear picture of what happened to Wilko in the San Felipe -- short and should move up next start, or something else amiss?

I should be noted that Rockport Harbor has easy fractions AND was completely unchallenged until the end of the race thanks to Afleet Alex evidently bleeding. It really takes less out of a horse when he's unchallenged on the lead like that.

I like Rockport Harbor a lot; but how short could he have been to not win after the race set up for him like that?

Still, even the good ones have bad days...
