Anyone else think this is a heck of a race?

i like alpha here. i think he is going to really do good things this year. i'm banking on him growing into being a 4YO.

I have a soft spot for Mucho Macho Man but I think he may need the race still. I'm also partial to Successful Dan but not sure why he did not do well in his last race. I'm thinking Fort Larned is the logical choice, but Alpha could certainly be a good long shot.

I'm quite sure that's true. I'm just not sure I like any of the others well enough to bet at all.

I'm liking Successful Dan. Should get a decent price. He got pinched back in his last race and came back with two bullet works since then. He has defeated Fort Larned in the past, and I think he can do it here.

Bill, do you being pinched back was sufficient excuse for Successful Dan's last race? I sure would like to see him win if Mucho Macho Man can't. But I hear Fort Larned's connections think he's due.

He was in a perfect striking position and was starting to make a move when he had to check and lost his momentum (probably couldn't have caught Fort Larned on that day.) I don't think Fort Larned will get such an uncontested lead this time. I think Successful Dan has a real shot if he gets a good trip.

Super field IMHO. Great handicapping race.

This looks like a really fun race to handicap and watch. The best in mind in a long time.

I like Cross Traffic in terms of connections, but know nothing else about him. Anybody think he has a shot if the obvious choices have a bad day?

The problem is there are so many obvious choices. But I think Cross Traffic has a chance also.

I'll probably take my chances on Successful Dan.

OK Bill from WA. I joined the DRF Fantasy Handicapping Competition and boxed an exacta of Fort Larned and Successful Dan. Here's hoping for some virtual winnings.
