Mucho Macho Man

Postby DuncanPatch » Fri Jun 20, 2014 9:18 pm

Does anyone know what is happening with Mucho Macho Man? He's had a variety of medical problems off and on, and has been out of sight for a long time. Any info would be appreciated. He's a favorite of mine. Thanks.

Hi Duncan,
He's been in light training at Gulfstream Park after being diagnosed with "bruising" of both hind ankles. Mucho Macho Man will be reevaluated for that condition come the end of July, if all is well he'll be pointing to the BC Classic. TJ

TJ, many thanks. Glad to know its nothing serious. I knew he was pointing to the BC Classic and I will be there again to see him. One of my all-time favorites, with special affinity because I stroked his head at Saratoga through the kindness of his owner. He also confirmed for me then that he would win the Classic that year -- and he did. :-)

The right decision - but I'll miss him.
