Which foal of 2011 is the better horse, California Chrome or Shared Belief?
Should they remain healthy, will they compete in the same contest this year?
Will it be in a graded stake or will it be in a match race?
Your thoughts?
Which California trained three year old is the better horse?

Why a match race? I'm not even sure they are THE best 3-year-olds in the country. There have been plenty of injuries and there are still many races to run and there are always later developing 3-year-olds improving in the last half of the year.
SB is going to the Pacific Classic against older males, and Chrome is still on the farm.
Perhaps they will meet in the BC Classic, although I could see Hollendorfer sending SB to the BC Mile.

Here we are, four weeks away from the Breeder's Cup. Although the Classic is open to three year olds, it predominately fills with older horses. Both of my three year olds of choice (back in July) are training well, leading up to the November race. Other three year olds, Bayern, Tapiture, Tonalist, Medal Count, and Toast of New York have credentials of note to run in the B. C. Posing the question ...... Who will be named three year old champion?

LOL, I loved reading what I said back in June. I think Shared Belief has proven (I think) to be the better of the two, but the Classic hopefully will be the deciding race. Tonalist is definitely a force to reckon with at Belmont.
