Chief Istan, a 2 year old by Istan/My Indian bred and owned by Brereton C. Jones and trained by Larry Jones just went wire to wire at Delaware Park in his initial start and won eased up and geared down. He covered the 5 furlongs in 57:28 and could be a horse to watch. His sire, Istan, only covered 17 mares for 2011 so there are not many out there as two year olds this year, however, this horse looks and runs like he could be any kind. Thought maybe some of you might like to follow him.
