California Chrome Won't Go to Japan

California Chrome, who was invited to run in the Japan Cup in December, will not go. Two major reasons were behind the decision. The first being they have no assistant starters in the gate with their horses (and we know how bad CC can be in the gate), the other is that Japan racing does not allow nasal strips. Looks like he may see the good Canadian filly, Lexie Lou, in the Hollywood Derby at the end of the month. On turf. I would love to see that match up!
