International Star Shines Bright On The Kentucky Derby Trail

International Star was impressive in winning the Grade 3 Lecomte Stakes yesterday. Is he talented enough to have more success moving forward?

Would be rather ironic to see a Fusaichi Pegasus win the Derby, since he has got to be one of the most highly over-rated horse's in awhile, and his stud career has been disappointing.

If anyone can make it happen, it's probably Ken and Sarah Ramsey. It would be quite ironic...you are right.

Excellent results in Australia when he shuttled but poor results in US and poor broodmare stats.

Needs to improve to be a serious Derby contender but def on the radar.

My take on International Star's Louisiana Derby performance: http://www.americanclassicpedigrees.com/hoofprints.
