Imperia Is Taken Off Dirt To Run In The Spiral Stakes

After a disappointing 5th place finish as the 3/2 favorite in the Risen Star Stakes, Imperia is moving to synthetics to try to get needed Derby points in the G3 Spiral Stakes this Saturday. Here is my pedigree and performance analysis.

Other than Animal Kingdom (who was special), this race doesn't seem like the best race to prep for the Derby. Just my opinion.
