I had to go back and look and rewrite this.
Maybe in a different year, but Tepin looks tough to beat. Miss Temple City ducked Tepin twice (?) and beat the boys twice as a result. The one time they ran against each other Tepin was 2nd and MTC was 5th in the Mile
Tepin's record looks slightly better IMO. MTC is an incredible mare but Tepin is the queen bee.

On further consideration, I suppose you are right, Cree. T won the head-to-head, and both have three Grade/Group 1 victories, but one of T's was overseas. That said, MTC won two of her last three, while T lost two of her last three ... Still, a shame they both can't get recognized for outstanding seasons, imo!
