GHOSTZAPPER SICK

Postby louis finochio » Fri Apr 01, 2005 7:25 am

Ghostzapper has a sinus problem and is running a fever. He has been scratched from the Oaklawn Handicap.

Well he isn't... yet.

Maybe Frankel will hold him out until the BC Classic and then see if he can win HOY off of one race.

Please, please don't let this horse end up turning into Candy Ride Part II...flashes of pure brilliance outdone by physical fragility in the end...:?

All the best to GZ in his recovery. Would be something special to see him against a couple of the 3-year-old stars of 2005, assuming said 3-year-olds live up to the promise they're now displaying. And I would LOVE to see him and Roses in May go head-to-head again!

Ghostzapper seems to be a horse with a lot of talent that can't hold up for more than a few races (I hope that I'm wrong). I want to see Ghostzapper against Rock Hard Ten. I think RHT can take him.

With the 3 crosses of (Fair Play) thru Intent---Olden Times---and Bunty Lawless, Ghostzapper will repeat as HOY as these crosses of (Fair Play) will add soundness to his quest for a HOY title.

I hope he stays sound. Of course, what does it matter? At this rate he'll run in one race this year like LSB said. I just hope RHT is in that race b/c RHT will humble him and make his connections wish they had run him more. (Is it obvious that I am a RHT fan? :D )

I have been a fan of RHT since I saw him at SA, RHT has that class look about him that would have you bidding on him in the auction ring.

I hope both RHT and Gost.Z. stay sound to meet in the BC.
