WINNING COLORS REMEMBERED

Postby louis finochio » Mon May 02, 2005 7:55 pm

Winning colors is alive and well, as she turned 20 yr. old in 05.

Winning Colors is in good condition and enjoying her retirement.
Thanks to the above info to Jesus Cerillo the foreman for Wayne Lukas, and exercise boy for more than 20 years. Jesus is now working for Godolphin Stables at Santa Anita.

Thanks for the memories Winning Colors as all your fans send their love.

hi louis

Winning Colors...what a GREAT race filly...WOW !!!

I remember after her Ky Derby win...Eugene Klein holding (high) the winner's trophy...smiling joyously and exuberantly saying 'This one's for the ladies'...

...what an AWESOME filly !!!

Winning Colors' beautiful son DR. LITIN stand at Oakhurst Thoroughbreds in Newberg, Oregon.
Their web site has a photo of one of his foals. Very nice indeed.

Her Derby was the first one I ever saw, and it was wonderful. She was a Glamazon before the word became popular.
