Move by Surf Cat

Did anyone see the move by Surf Cat in the Leroy Handicap(3rd race) at Hollywood Park. That was amazing for a horse going 2 turns for the first time. He went from last to first in a breath taking run.

He's a real nice colt trained by the master, Bruce Headley.

it's his first 2 turn race of the year, but not of his career - remember the Swaps last year?

Hagginwood,
I stand corrected. He went 2 turns in the Affirmed, Swaps, Pacific Classic and in an optional allowance race in 2005.

The Leroy was the first time he showed some versatility in his running style. I am not sure if they tried to take him back or if it was due to him breaking a step slow. Nevertheless, that move from last to first was still visually impressive.

In previous 2 turn races he stalked/pressed the pacesetter.
