Dreams for Hire

Postby henthorn » Mon Oct 02, 2006 7:30 pm

The filly was sored up after her last race, and didn't perform up to expectations. She had been intermittently sore in her back or rear legs, and went to the vet yesterday for a thorough going-over. It seems she has a suspensory ligament tear near the site of her old fracture surgery.

We've decided to quit spending training money on her and retire her. She may make a good broodmare, but who knows?! She needs a resident farm with a resident stallion, so she would rarely require trips to other locations, as she doesn't ship well. She also doesn't tolerate confinement in a stall without constant supervision.

If you'd like a feisty, competitive, unsound filly as a broodmare or racing prospect, please send me a private message. She's beautiful, well-balanced, and has good conformation. Her pedigree and picture are in the database. Will sell cheap!

I'm sorry!
You've been through a lot with her.
Maybe she'll find her niche....somewhere!
Good luck finding the right spot for her.
