Busy week at MNR

Postby Jenarby » Tue Aug 29, 2006 4:17 pm

We are running in the 8th tonight (8/29) with "Luna Sea." She's #8. This will be our first time running her off the claim so we don't really know what to expect.

Friday (9/1) we are in the 8th with "Dancer's Wish" (number 2) and also in the 10th with "Assumed Risk" who is #5.

Saturday (9/2) we are in the 6th with "Yankee Trail" post number 10
and also in the 10th with "Galvanizer" who is also in post 10.

I'm excited to report that Luna won last night by 5 1/2! She was so impressive and I'm so very proud of her!

"Luna Sea", "Lunacy", what a true play on words for us horse owners!

Thanks!

Yep, I was thinking about that play on words too and wondering if the person who named her thought about it like that.

We ended up Scratching Galvanizer from saturday's race. We are trying to sell him as an event horse and he's got a PPE set up for the beginning of the week. So he doesn't really need to run.

The others are still in though. Cross fingers please! ;)
