Mellanie Surprise entered at sand

Postby BenB » Sun Feb 25, 2007 1:41 am

Mellanie is entered in a low condition race at sand to be held at the 11th
of march in Dortmund (Germany)
Race open for horses that have not won more than 4k on that surface.
Horses winning 4 K carrying 60kg.
Open for four year olds and up.
Since she is a maiden on that surface, we will give it a shot.
Racing with bottom weight 52kg. Distance 9 furlongs.
The hauling will take some time 3,5 hrs up and down since she trains in our neighbourhood.

The problem seems to be a little inflamation in her upper airways.
From the outside looking, her coat shines, looking absolute great like mid
summer, working well but always, a little white liquid out of her nose, not badly but though not entirely good.

She overtrains herself and there is now an injury at the muscles.
More or less pulled a muscle

Ben, best of luck to you and her. We'll be celebrating Mother's Day here in the states, so maybe Mellanie will make her dam proud!
