Ran 3rd in the Double Delta today

Postby Maven » Sat Jun 02, 2007 2:39 pm

Im really superstitious so I dont post before the race goes off but we ran 3rd in our Lemon Drop Kid filly's first stakes attempt going a mile on the turf at Arlington Park behind Dreaming of Anna.

She broke her maiden last out and is proving herself useful. If the race was longer I think we would have had them.

Thank you. We couldnt ask for a whole lot more from our 3yo crop this year. One stakes winner, one stakes-placed, and one in a good spot to break her maiden tomorrow after being just headed in her first race.

She seems to be a pretty nice short future prospect. I do hope your finding a race for her, in her race distance range
