2 yr. old making debut!

Postby Mood Swings » Sat Jun 23, 2007 5:16 am

I am very excited that a filly I bred and sold last year is making her debut on Sunday at Churchill :D I pray that she stays safe and has a confidence building run.

GoSidneyGo!

Postby TB Dreamin' » Sat Jun 23, 2007 1:44 pm

I will root for GoSidneyGo, since I'll be watching!!! Who is she (?) by? Out of your mare? How exciting...I can only dream of the day...

You have to root for Foam, entered in the 2nd-she's by Najran, and I'm hoping she'll be his second winner from his first crop of 2 year olds!!!

Whoa-hope they're not in the same race????!!!!

Haha, actually they are in the same race
She is from the first crop of champion Wake At Noon. Her name is "Wakin in The Mood" and she is out of my mare "Mood Swings".
"Sidney" was her barn name.

What happened to Sidney?

Postby TB Dreamin' » Sun Jun 24, 2007 6:45 pm

 Did Sidney scratch due to the slop? Or did she have an injury?

Foam was less than exciting...dropped from the rail like the jockey had pulled her up...still don't know why. Then at the end, came on like mad, going 7-8 wide and ending up 4th. Not a pretty trip...

P.S.

Ben B. we all know what rooting means to you...sigh...boring...grow up.

To be honest, I don't know. I hope it was due to the slop and not anything more serious :? Thanks for the cheering squad :D Hopefully she'll be racing soon!
