Mellanie won today finally. betting 14-1 9 furlong track turf track condition firm.
After a furlong out of the gate she took the lead before the first bend and stayed there till after the finish. Winning marge almost two lenghts.
She raced in good style with a very long stride.
She won in an more than good time for the class she was running in
In the morning I spoke with the wife and said if she runs badly again, I will sent her in the pasture and quit.
We got her treated with an product which is called equiflex as she was always stiff in her joints. The stiffness is caused by a lack from synovia.
Finally she hit the board !!!!

When you walk through a storm
Hold your head up high
And don't be afraid of the dark.
At the end of the storm
There's a golden sky
And the sweet, silver song of a lark.
Walk on, through the wind,
Walk on, through the rain,
Though your dreams be tossed and blown.
Walk on, walk on with hope in your heart,
And you'll never walk alone,
You'll never walk alone
Walk on, walk on with hope in your heart,
And you'll never walk alone.

Today I phoned the trainer, a thing what I always do the day after a race.
She came out very well, but I made a large mistake. Firstly she drunk some water and after half an hour some extra.
But than I gave her some hay an hour after her race.
What I did not know, is that the horse is having a painfull dry throat for quite a while after an race. So she came out of the horsetrailer and her mouth was white from the coughing and the mess that the hay created.

As long as she's ok...it's a lesson well learned. Glad to hear that she went well for you and hopefully she is now fine.
