Meadow Mirage

Postby Green Hills » Fri Sep 21, 2007 7:58 am

Meadow Mirage will be racing on Saturday Sept. 22 at the Meadowlands in Race 9.

At 10:41 pm

She has PP 7/7 and will be ridden by Alan Garcia :?:

Good luck! She's a pretty girl and has already shown some real good talent. I think you might have a stakes filly on your hands. Gotta love Meadowlake fillies as well as broodmare prospects. Lots of upside to this filly.

Thanks. We could sure use one...our best fillies (now mares) are retired (Voodoo Dancer & Cassydora, Coded Princess), though we have a couple of 2 year olds who may prove to do well as time goes by.

Nice girls... I will be shocked if Voodoo Dancer doesn't become a real good broodmare for you and Cassydora has a very fun pedigree to play with and Coded Princess is quite the looker!

Cassy (i/f to Hennessey) and the Princess (i/f to Smart Strike) are headed to the November sale, as well as Glaire (i/f to Tale of the Cat), and a couple of others...

We are top heavy with mares and the only untouchable one is Voodoo Dancer.

I'm sure they'll bring a nice profit. We have a few going into November as well.

All my horses have price tags on their head but I can see how a mare like VD would take a special place in your heart. What a game mare she was!

She doesn't owe us anything...we owe her. I can't even imagine ever selling her.

We scratched Meadow Mirage as she was off a bit in training yesterday. She'll have a short rest and then we'll find another chance for her.

Good decision, there will be another race for her in time.

Absolutely there will be. Christophe just doesn't want to take a chance with her, for which I'm grateful.
