I know this is probably a lower race than most of you would typically follow, but it could be interesting. We went off at 20 to 1 last race and won it -- pretty much the same level. We're at 12 to 1 right now.
I guess I shouldn't bet on him this time either --- it's looking like I might have been the jinx
We still haven't quite figured him out distance-wise. We've had some funky issues. About every other race he breaks really well. So, he's due to break in front which would be helpful since this race is only 4 1/2. We wanted the 6f but they didn't run it. Last race at 5 1/2 he came from the back to win it.
It's never boring anway. I just wish a Scott Lake horse didn't have to be in every single one of our races!!

Well thanks, Ben. We're enjoying it. Two of the "bigger" guys in our race tonite "jokingly" told us to just go ahead and scratch. We'll see
In any event, we're learning something new every day, every race. Hopefully, we'll have a clue by the time our (not even born yet) foals get to the races!
I suppose I should have mentioned, in case anyone catches the race, he's #4 - Kentucky Champ.

Lol... They sure are.
He came up lame after the race. Nothing too serious, just some swelling. He'll get a month or so break now......well deserved.
We're not ready to lose him (have him claimed). It seemed as if a couple people were a little too interested before the last race, so we're toying with the idea of taking him up a level for his next race, but making sure it's at the right distance. We knew this distance was a longshot, literally.
