Our little monster is in his 1st race...Maidens, Three Year Olds for 21K at MNR, Monday, March 3, 6th race going 51/2f. If the track comes up bad because of melting snow and ice, we will scratch.

Moody Coach by Indy Mood out of Coach's Dream by Salem Drive

Roguelet, I think he has a great chance!

Wow, hard to believe the little guy is all grown up now, huh?

I'm wishing you all the luck in the world... traditionally the Indy Moods start out slow but just get better and better, but it sounds like Moody Coach might just break the mold and show his talent early on. I hope so! If he wins, I want a copy of that picture!

If I'm reading their confusing web sites correctly, MTR will not be shown on TVG tonight, but it WILL be shown on HRTV (someone correct me if I'm wrong.) 9:05 post time, and they're giving Moody Coach no respect at all according to the morning line. 20/1. Hmph.

I didnt realize Barb Sauer was training again - she is an outrider here, and a nice lady.

Mnr has cancelled racing for tonight and tomorrow (Mon & Tues) as we have had a massive freeze/rain/thaw and the track is a mucky mess. It isnt even open in the morning - they are trying desperately to get the chunks of ice that keep coming up from the bottom.

Any horses that were entered tonight or tomorrow will get "Z" dates (aka "snow star/date") so they will get preference the next time they enter, so he should be back racing soon.

That explains why I couldn't find the race on HRTV. :roll:

Definitely best to keep the horses off of that stuff and safe. 20dourmdd, let us know when he's in again!
