Ghost Hunt debuts Saturday
Finally we got the Silver Ghost/Spanish Guitar 3yo gelding in for a race just before the end of the season of Oaklawn Park. Ghost Hunt has been there training since December, but has been a somewhat challenging learner.

He had an encouraging first trip. He spotted the entire field about four lengths from the gate, then quickly caught up to them. He was vying for the lead in the stretch when he pooped out, and was passed by two. He got fourth place about 3 1/2 lengths from the front. He was the fourth favorite, and came in quite a ways in front of the final three. Hopefully he'll learn from this and move forward from here. Next stop is Prairie Meadows, IA for the spring-summer.
