merasmag - I see you are new. I think maybe a few of us old farts cannot fathom your messages. I'm not sure what you are trying to ask here, but I think complete words are what is needed in order to elicit a response.

Reading the merasmag messages is like unravelling a code. "I c u r"="I see you are." Took me a while to figure them out. Wouldn't have commented at all but I'm stuck at an airport severely delayed. Seems like she (he?)has some interesting stuff to say when you can figure it out.

Forum posts (here and others I frequent) tend to be more like formal writing than texting.

From what I here, the text shorthand is passe due to full qwerty keyboards now on many phones.
