Can the third time be the charm? A brother and two sisters act this Saturday for us: Platinize and Brother Sy both in at the BigM (afternoon card) and Sack of Rubies at Laurel, same day. Split parenting, split training and who knows about Ma Nature? We'll see. :)

Peculiar day for the barn. Platinize finished 6th in the bog at Meadowlands, and Sy's race (2 races later) was taken off the turf while he was on the way to the paddock. Sack of Rubies didn't get the trip she required, finishing 5th.
The girls came back OK and Sy is still looking to actually run one.

I know it's getting frustrating when things don't work out right, but one of these days you'll be spending alot of time in the winner's circle.

I was hesitant to even post the entries, given our lack of weather luck, but yes, Sy notched a nice allowance win today at the PHA, and baby sister Platinize had a tough trip right after him in the 10th in MC40K, finishing 5th. She's fine and is a game filly.
Tomorrow, the 5yo. mare, Sack of Rubies is in the 9th, A other than on the weeds.
So we go on. :D

Des, what race are you in? Rubies is in the 9th, so I'll look for you if we're there earlier. I'll be the one in the hat.

Congratulations for the win, and good luck to both of you in the upcoming races. I Hope they will come home safe and sound, and with the check.

Hope your horse came out of the race OK Des. What does tangled start mean? The winner paid $200, someone did well with him.

He came out of the race ok. He just does not care for the dirt. I was hoping that he would show a little something as he did in his prior race But that was not to be. Thats it for him... Broke in tangle means he broke inside and a bit shaky not firm footed also bumped somewhat with the horse next door.
