I watched Big Business run on Saturday and even threw some money on him. He looked like the horse to beat at 6-1. Didn't expect him to get the lead but he did and they chased him wire to wire!

I was hoping the "Genius " who thought " the trainer was crazy to Race him in MSW or that the horse did not belong there" would say how wrong they were....There's still time though

The "Genius" hasn't posted in a couple of months. I believe he had complications from surgical removal of his foot from his mouth.

Now ,now then members let's cut the guy a little slack here,I re-read the posts and they were not too inflammatory, merely realistic and as you all know there is nothing like a racehorse to prove you wrong on the day. I for one am looking forward to this horse's progress and consequently the positive exchanges that any improvement that comes with race experience will bring.

You are correct WILF ... He made some polite comments however I was just wondering out loud how could he tell that the colt did not belong based on breeding alone.. and not knowing anything else like the trainer did .. He was second guessing the connections........... Indeed those horses do prove us wrong sooooo many times

Yes I've got him on a watch list too. Nice return after almost a year layoff. New connections.

Looks like Heinz Steinman owned him in his last 2011 start. Mark Molina picked up ownership for his first 2012 start. Then he's claimed by Gary Barber. Gary sends him to David Jacobson back east and he reels off two wins... This horse couldn't get by 16 claimer non 2's in Cali. Ships back east and wins a 35k and his first condition for fun. Just goes to show you how tough SoCal racing is..
