I know it is cold, and the ground is frozen most of the winter up there.
Have you thought that maybe that caused her foot problems???
Just curious, as we had 2 up in Connecticut, and Mass. The 2nd year we had no problems, as we removed their shoes when they were out for over a month in the winter...Iron is colder than the ground. I know there is different material for "winter" shoes now, that was back in the 80's.
