Information on fate of "Dancing Warrior"

I would appreciate any help in trying to find out the fate of Dancing Warrior(2000 bay gelding by Lear Fan out of Danseuse Du Soir). I have been trying for several months without sucess to find out if this special horse is still around.

In 2003, I was a Veterinary Technician at an Equine Hospital in Del Mar when Dancing Warrior was brought in, having eviscerated following a routine castration at the track. He was at our hospital over a month, and survived his illness despite all odds. He had just been purchased by Burt Bacharach at the time, and Dancing Warrior showed incredible determination and will to live by overcoming his severe illness and returning to the track.

I read in an article on the internet that the horse fractured sesmoids in a race in 2004, but I am hopeful that he was saved and perhaps kept for a second career as a riding horse. I can only hope that this amazing horse, who had a reasonable record at the track (he was trained by Julio Cannai), was saved following his injury in 2004, and might still be around somewhere.

I would appreciate any help/suggestions etc anyone has to helping to find out the fate of this amazing horse.

Yeah, in fact he was exported to France as a yearling, then Imported back to the US as a 3 year old when Burt Bacharach bought him (in about June 2003). It's after he came back to the US that I'm trying to find out about.
