Philadelphia Park - Midnight Jasmine

Postby 4HMom » Fri Nov 10, 2006 1:46 pm

I am looking for any information that someone may have for a Thoroughbred mare by the name of Midnight Jasmine. From what I understand, she was raced at Philadelphia Park. The only info I have is her name and a tattoo that I believe to be C14438 or C14433. It's hard to tell if the last number is a 3 or 8. From what I have been told she was a real maniac, so I am pretty sure she never won a race. I just want to know if anyone can give me some history on her. My daughter just recently acquired her.

Thank you.

You can contact the Jockey Club, give them the lip number, and ask for more information on that horse.

The only Midnight Jasmine I was able to find would be 20 years old now - I'm not familiar enough with which birth years correspond to which letters in the tattoos to say if that could possibly be your mare.

If it is her, she did not race, and has no foals on record with the jockey club.

However, if the age is way off, you're back at square one - as LT pointed out, you can contact the Jockey Club and have them search the tattoo number (they are the only ones who can). There is a charge for the service, but as far as I know, you only have to pay for a successful match - if you give both possible numbers you won't be charged twice. :D

Good luck!

The letter 'C' would be 1973 or 1999. Your best bet for a proper identification is a JC search on the #.

Thank you everyone for your help. Jasmine is only 7 years old, so the C stands for 1999. I suppose I will try the Jockey Club. Good to know that they will only charge me if a match is found.
