I am searching for the first win pic (or any pics) of this horse. Also all race dates that he placed. First race was at Hawthorne Park in late summer of 1971. Ran 2nd in the Blue Grass, ran 5th in the Kentucky Derby in 1972. Trained by Grover W Stephens. Owned by Forrest H Lindsay. He was the love of my life, I groomed him as a 2 yr old. I would also like to know where he was at stud. All help would be greatly appreciated.

There are actually several people who may soon appear on this board to help you out. All I can say is that I had a lovely old Sensitive Music Gelding named Major Melody that I won a bunch of races with at Fort Erie, Woodbine and Penn National. He was a great character and I found him a wonderful second career which he deserved. He was foaled in Washington State around Eunumclaw I think,so perhaps he was at stud there for some time as "Major" was foaled around 1983.

In looking around online I found reference (by Bill from WA) that Sensitive Music did stand in Washington State. Perhaps the Washington TB Breeders office can give you more information about where he stood/ended up.

How wonderful that you worked with him. I certainly remember his name, but I can't remember anything 'useful' about him. Good luck!

Is there any way to find out who rode/trained him in those races. The trainer I worked for that had him in 72/73 did Chicago tracks then to Ky and then Florida for the winter....so it looks like someone else had him later.

Thanks so much for the info!!!!!!!!

Thanks to all who supplied race info. I did find out that he was at stud in Washington, then went to private stud. Still looking to see who had him after he was at Magnum Farms with Tim Peterson in Enumclaw. The farm is no longer in business.
