I just read about this gelding on The Bloodhorse; he retired sound at 13 years of age after running in L O N G races, like 2 miles.
I know it's a longshot but does anyone know where there might be a picture of Bluegrass Warrior? I'd love to see what such a horse looks like.

My gosh, that horse is amazing!
He raced in 23 races of 2 miles or longer in his life.
He won 7 times going 2 miles and one-quarter.
His average winning distance for 21 lifetime wins was a staggering 13.64 furlongs.
Bluegrass Warrior raced 8 times over 2 and one-quarter miles at Beulah Park, OH, and he won 7 of them, finishing 2nd by a length in the other.
A foal of 1985, he raced 125 times, 21-15-10, with earnings of $231,533.
I guess Beulah Park would be the first place to start looking for pictures of him. He last raced there on May 4, 1996.
