Sort of an FYI

I have borrowed some scarce racing books through my library and the interlibrary loan system. (I live far from the major libraries, and asking for a boatload of photocopies from them is unreasonable.)

A lot of information is available online, but much isn't. FYI, I was able to borrow a set of Turf Registers dated 1845-1859. They were stored at Cal Berkeley's offsite facility, and they were quite willing to lend.

Here is the contact information for the UC NRLF that your library can use to do the same, if you so desire:

Now I have a hard copy of all the pages I wanted. But please wait a few weeks until I return the books and they migrate back to California.

(Now, if anybody has access to the 1860 version and is willing to forward copies of the racing calendar and index for running horses, I would be eternally grateful :) )
